I purchased a Windows 7 Professional (32 or 64) Upgrade and installed it on my Windows XP system. After starting up WIN 7 I realized that the existing video and audio hardware was not adequate for Windows 7. After pricing new video card, audio card, and new monitor, I decided to buy a new XPS-8100 system from Dell. The default OS is Windows 7 Home Premium. Since I have already paid for Windows 7 Professional, I would like to order Home Premium and then upgrade to Professional. The question is: Can I use the (XP or Vista) Windows 7 Professional 64 bit DVD upgrade that I previously purchased to upgrade the new Dell system?
