Could anyone advise of the best/easiest way to upgrade my Skype for Business 2015 servers? I have read that the software does not support in place upgardes of the OS, with a "side by side" deployment and then decomissioning the old servers - is it just a case of adding the replica servers to the topology, setting them up and then removing the old?

what are you upgrading from? Lync 2013 or Lync 2010?

if from Lync 2013 to Skyp4B then you can do in place upgrade of the software not the OS (make sure you have supported OS for Skype4b), if you wish to upgrade the OS you have to do it via Co-existence scenario.

if you upgrading from Lync 2010 to Skype4b, then you have to do it with Co-existence
