Updating USB driver...
Hi there, I recently encountered problems with some games I wanted/ and still want to play...And it seems the problem is related to my internet, the games having similar connection problems.AT one game I get this :''Couldnt connect to update server'' and at another one ''patch server offline''...I tried to ask for help on one of the game`s forum but I couldnt get anything more than info on why this might happen to me. Anyway, I`d like to know why this happenes and If I can fix it, I think it might be because my modem driver is outdated or something like that, also the icon shows like it would have been down and somethings its blinking...I have my modem from Scientific Atlanta and it`s number is 089003014, i thought i could get and update for it on theyre site, but since they seem to have moved to cisco it got even harder for me to find and update for it... But what I really want is to fix this problem so I can play some games, if the info i posted are not enough just tell me what should I also post for you to determine what the problem may be. Thank you in advice! Also, sorry if this is the wrong section of forum and if this is not microsoft related at all, but it`s the only source I can hope of a working answer

Hi, to update your drives, make sorur you are online and run windows updates until no more update are presented. You could also check the websie of the modem manufacturer. (http://www.cisco.com/web/consumer/support/prod_modems.html) In this case I would also recommend to contact your ISP and have your line and lineperformance checked. You could do some basic network functionality testing too: ping, tracert, nslookup.... to determine wther the connection is stable. MCP/MCSA/MCTS/MCITP
