Updates disable keyboard
The weekly Windows 8.1 push updates disable my laptop keyboard. (It's a Toshiba Satellite.) To get the keyboard working again, I have to restore to a time before the update. How can I prevent this from happening? Thank you.

Can you update the device drivers and check ? Also, are there any specific updates ?

I don't know how to update the device drivers.  All I know is how to restore.  (I'm too old to be technologically astute.) 

Each of the last two updates has made this happen.
