Updated to XP SP3 and now remote user cannot login/connect
Hello,I recently installed SP3 on an old Gateway. Previously users would login with remote desktop connection. Now they are unable to. Setting for firewalls and remote assistance are unchanged... Any ideas?Please help.Thank you!-Mike1 person needs an answerI do too

Is Remote Desktop still enabled? Are the remote users members of the Administrators group? If not are they specifically granted permission to log on remotely? Is this being done on a LAN or via WAN (internet)? Are you using a router? If yes then by their nature routers act as incoming firewalls so to troubleshoot this you can safely disable the Windows firewall to make sure that it isn't the culprit.John
