Update KB2923768 is breaking my SkyDrive/OneDrive (Domain Setup/ Roaming Profile/User Rights)
Just of today 'm not able to start the Sky Drive app from the start screen anymore and auto sync is not working. Starting the the skydrive app will display: there's an issue opening the location.
The app is only working if I logon with admin-rights
Is it due to the latest windows-updates? Why is it on all the (vm)machines within my domain (did not change any group policies lately)?
More info:
After removing KB2923768
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2923768
It all worked again.... So for some reason this update is breaking my Sky Drive
Because it is working under admin-rights I supect this recommended KB update solves a freaking security issue not documented.
I consider this a bug in a domain setup or I miss the extra instructions...
Who knows more?

Same problem here by us. Hopefully a fix will come as soon as possible...

I have tested it on a Windows Server 2012 R2 (fully updated) and joined in a domain with a standard domain user (and a roaming profile). First you have to install the OneDrive software separately on the server 2012 R2(https://onedrive.live.com/about/en/download/)
Result: Everything is working fine incl. Sync Icon...
So this is definitely an Out-Off-The-Box OneDrive Windows 8.1 KB2923768 issue....

Same here, and still broken after Windows 8.1 Update 1. Running the desktop setup download linked above has no effect.
I've noticed that if you're on the (broken) Windows 8 app and go to settings, it suggests there is no Microsoft account linked, even though it shows up fine in the Accounts screen (I've tried removing and re-linking to no effect)

I've done some more troubleshooting today and it appears be be a problem specifically with roaming profiles.
We use roaming profiles and folder redirection here, and my standard domain user test account does not work with OneDrive right now. If I remove the roaming profile path from that user's AD object, OneDrive works as soon as the user logs in again and gets
a local profile - even with all GPOs and folder redirection still in play, so in my case at least, it's NOT a problem with redirected AppData or any other redirected folder.
I'm also confident that it isn't a problem with old roaming profile data as I have completely reset the roaming profile of my test user several times while troubleshooting this issue. Testing today was done on a single workstation running Windows 8.1 (x86)
with Update 1 installed.

Today I upgraded both the domain controller server 2012 R2 and clients Windows Enterprise 8.1 to update 1 and the problem has not been solved.
I agree with The Angry Technician it has something to do with roaming profiles.
Hope to hear from you soon....

The Skydrive troubleshooter seems to suggest that Onedrive does not support the use of roaming profiles, but I have always had roaming profiles and it worked fine before. It is also running on another domain member computer fine, just not on this desktop.

If I use a server 2012 R2 update 1 as a client and install OneDrive. It will work fine with roaming profiles....
Weird... Why not with windows 8.1?
note: you have to install OneDrive seperatly:
https://onedrive.live.com/about/nl-nl/download/
Funny Fix: use Windows server 2012 R2 update 1 as a client in your domain....
