Unsolicited phone call from Compstep__
Today I had a phone call from Compstep telling me Microsoft had reported that my computer had a Virus and was slow and kept sending error reports to MS. They then showed me 100`s of virus reports including a virus in AVAST ans XP being reported from the
control panel Antivirus none of which could be deleated.
I have done a scan and can find no virus. The outcome was they wanted to upgrade my computer to Win 7 at a cost of GPB185 under remote control. I rejected their offer but wonder if I do have a virus.

I recieved the same call today again they wanted to charge £185. I use windows Vista and they told me it was because my edition was too out of date. I was fortunate enough not to except their offer, and I have done everything in my power
to scan and clear all from my compter.
I have followed you link about the E-Mail.
Thank you
