Hi, That’s hard to determine what this registry is. But this is quite abnormal and was not be created by system. Please perform a whole disk scan to check if any virus or spywares in your PC. Also you can delete it for safety. Note, you’d better backup the registry before delete it. Like said leo, this registry was not created by your system. Please proceed like that: Run full scan against viruses, spywares and malware programs (You can use Microsoft Security Essentials to perform that). Repair the install of your OS Have you tried to use utilities that perform registry cleaning? If yes, it is not recommanded and they can create such registry entries. In this case, I recommand to perform a restore operation that dates before the use of such cleaner. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights. Hi Rustruck, Any unusual activities in your system lately? was it flagged by your current Security/Anti-virus apps? How about this use this tool ( 3rd party ) http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/ and post the logs of the 04 category here and lets see what you have and lets verify if its a threat or not. As per previous post please use Microsoft Security Essential if you don't have any Security Apps. Also if ever we found something malicious in your PC we would sure appreciate it if you can submit here https://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Submission/Submit.aspx so other users who has the same concern as you have will benefit. And wiping & reinstalling the OS is the last option. Many Thanks, CEH.ECSA.MVP Windows Security

Thanks for the replies from you guys. Most of this I've already done, I haven't used Tom Coyote's software yet, (Highjackthis) , I wanted to see if you guys knew what it was first. I found it to be helpful to go back in and look up the date it was created, locate a restore point prior to that before doing the removal process. I'll keep you informed of what happens afterwards. Again, thanks for the input.John R. Eskins
