When i startup my computer and it gets to the welcome screen a green box has started to appear on the right hand side of the screen and its only there seconds before it disappears.It asks for "Log on Authentication, Please authenticate the user you wish to log on to the system" and asks for username,domain,password,identity. just want to know what this is and if its a problem?1 person needs an answerI do too

Is that a new PC, it might be some sort of software that manufacture put to enhance some security or it belong to some other application , have a look at add/remove program in control panel and see if anything related to this is there or not.

No its not a new PC a few years old. ok after about 4 hours of searching and trying to get help i've discovered its to do with a program called Omnipass, so seems ok.

Thanks you for your information, therefore I guess by remove that application this problem would gone.
