Uninstalling Microsoft Security Essentials when it doesn't show up in my Add and Remove Programs but it is still in Program files on my computer.
I have McAfee Total Protection 2011 installed on my laptop computer and it had a conflict with Microsoft Security Essentials. The McAfee install program said to run add & remove programs to uninstall MS Security Essentials. After uninstalling the viewed MS Security Essentials program listed in Add & Remove programs I discovered another instance of Microsoft Security Essentials in my Program Files and it doesn't show up in my Add and Remove Programs. I cannot complete an installation of the McAfee Total Protection 2011 until it is removed but it is still in Program files on my computer. How do I rid my computer of the MS Security Essentials program(clean)1 person needs an answerI do too
