Not all hotfixes are uninstallable. To check you go to the Control Panel > Programs and Features > View Installed Updates. If it listed there and if it has the option to uninstall, then you uninstall it from there. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. I saw it and uninstalled it. However I still see the DLLs under following folder have version 9.0.30729.6161. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\redist\x86\Microsoft.VC90.MFC How do I get those DLLs version back to 9.0.30729.1. Thanks,

The only way I am aware of is to find a system that has the version you want on it and copy the files. You might try uninstalling Visual Studio 9.0 and then re-installing it to see if you get the version you want. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
