We are thinking of going to EOP standalone and I would Like to know if we do go to EOP standalone do I uninstall FOPE after it done or will FOPE still work?

As mentioned in your other thread:

Assuming you are referring to "Microsoft Forefront Protection for Exchange Server", that product is expiring soon, so you can uninstall it if you want.

I recently started blocking spam via EOP, and turned off the spam filtering on Microsoft Forefront Protection for Exchange Server.

I would love to uninstall, but there are multiple problems with EOP for me.

One problem is that Microsoft Forefront Protection for Exchange Server will allow me to strip attachments out of an email if they match extensions, while EOP requires me to block the email.

If you really ARE referring to Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE), you cannot a) install it, or b) uninstall it, as it's onoline.

FOPE is no longer a working product, it's been transitioned to EOP.

Sadly, the forum structure leaves a LOT to be desired, so your guess on where to post is as good as mine.
