Unidentified Wireless Nerwork
Hi, Today I purchased a Dell Inspiron laptop, i connected to my home wireless network fine and it worked for about 2 - 3 hours. (i have a Linksys WAG160n Wireless-N ADSL2+ Gateway) Then all of a sudden the network disconnected and reconnected and said it was an unidentified network? I've plugged my laptop directly into the router via cat-5 and it works fine, but i would rather be able to move around my house and work rather than being stuck in the study next to the router. I've been scouring the forums trying to fix the issue and i've tried everything! Editing the registry, reinstalling my wireless network card drivers, changing IP and MAC addresses and nothing seems to work! please help! there are so many different ways to try and fix it and none have worked :( The laptop specs are - Intel(R) Pentium(R) Processor T4200 (2GHz/800 FSB/1MB Cache) - Genuine Windows Vista(R) Home Premium SP1 32 bit Edition (English) - 4GB Dual-channel DDR2 SDRAM - 250GB SATA Hard Drive - 15.6" 720p WLED (1366x768) Display with TrueLife(TM), with integrated 1.3 mega pixel web cam - Intel(TM) Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD - 8X DVD+/-RW Drive with DVD+R double layer write capability, with Roxio Premium 10 - Dell Wireless 1510 802.11n Half Mini-Card - McAfee(TM) Security Center 9.0 (English) - 30 days (Most of that won't be necessesary to know, but i thought i should post anyway)
