Unidentified Network Problem - Local Access Only
Recently I was hit with the Fake "Windows Security Center" Virus. Upon finding out that this was a fake virus scan program i tried to remove it with McAfee. This never seemed to work until one day the virus randomly disappeared. Soon after however, whenever I tried to open a program I would get a message saying that "The program could not be found" and it would ask me to browse for the program. I decided to do the System restore to set my computer back a couple weeks. I did get all the programs back and the virus was no longer there but now the computer wont connect to the internet. The computer connects to my wireless network but will not go on to connect to the internet. I get a message saying "Currently connected to Unidentified Network (********) Access: Local Only" What should be my course of action? - I am running Vista Home Premium 6.0.6001 (64 Bit) on a Gateway FX6710-01

I'd probably download and run MalwareBytes first. http://www.malwarebytes.org I believe. Let it scan your system and see if it finds anything.-B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook
