Unfindable laptop in network leads to Error 1068 error when I try to start Server service.
From my Windows 7-equipped VAIO laptop, I can reach out and touch all the other computers on the wireless network in my office. The newest workstation, also equipped with Windows 7, can SEE my laptop, but cannot access it. After messing around with trying to share a subdirectory on our network, I finally get down to the fact that my Server service is not started. When I try to start it, I get the 1068 error saying that "The dependency service or group failed to start." What am I missing here?

the service "SamSs" and the SMB1 driver must be running. Check this in the dependency tab of the "Server" service."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/
