My computer started shutting down for no reason that I could see so I thought it might me a virus. My friends computer got infected a week ago and sent out emails to everyone in her contacts list. I didn"t open it and thought I was safe. I tried to run an antivirus program and my computer shut down shortly after it started. I booted up in safe mode with the same results. I went on line to see if I could do a scan that way, but I got the same result. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

The two most probable reasons would be 1. CPU overheating 2. Power supply has crapped
