Unexpected Shutdown
Hi, In the last few days, my laptop sometimes just powers off. It then re-starts with the message 'windows did not shut down correctly...'. Now, someone managed to analyse an event log and told me I was getting this error: 0x8000000000000002 No BSOD came up before the laptop just shuts down. I am totally lost... :S

0x8000000000000002 I suspect it is a driver problem. I recommand to you to use the WhoCrashed software that reveals the drivers responsible for crashing your computer: http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed Once the failed driver detected, please re-install it and update it. Please have a look to your registered error events. If the source of your error is Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power, please have a look to this Microsoft article (It is proposing a possible resolution for that problem): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504 If this does not help, please update all your drivers (I suspect that the problem is with the audio driver). If you want to enable it follow this steps. I made them for you using Windows Step Recorder. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/300838/psr/Enable%20Blue%20Screen.mht Best Regards,Ricardo Polo "HodracirK" HodracirK.com
