I have successfully installed RSAT SP1 on my Windows 7 SP1 64bit client. Well, almost installed it. All Windows features are installed other than "Group Policy Management Tools", "Active Directory Administrative Centre" and "Server for NIS Tools". Whenever I try to turn on any of these features I get an error similar to the following "Update RemoteServerAdministrationTools-Roles-AD-DS-AdministrativeCenter of package KB958830 failed to be turned on. Status: 0x80070643." I have followed http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982 and the problem still persists. Anyone with any ideas???

Hi, RSAT error 0x80070643 means error install failure, you need to apply the package KB958830 again. http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=7887 Furthermore, this issue might be caused by your antivirus program, please completely remove the antivirus program, and temporally disable firewall for test. Thanks, works a treat now. One thing though. Once I re-install McAfee I find that a couple of the tools cease to function properly again, having worked ok with no McAfee. For example Hyper-V Manager shows no Virtual Machines when McAfee is installed but shows the Virtual Machines ok when McAfee is not installed. Any advice as to any AV programs that work with the RSAT tools? Many thanks
