Unable to store a Windows network password.
I have several consultants on-site for a dev project and one of them uses Windows Vista. They all need to access the network printers which are shared on the network, but require domain credentials which we provided them. I have been able to install the printers just fine to all of them except the fellow with Vista by saving the domain credentials in their password managers. In Windows XP, when you try to install the printer it asks you for the credentials straight away. In Windows 7, you need to add the credentials in the stored network passwords without a prompt. In Windows Vista, I get this screen. The problem is that the Windows logon credential option is greyed out. I have tried with the second option but I can't get it to work that way. Why is the option locked?
