Unable to start windows 7.0 normally
Had windows 7.0 for a while and things worked normally. All of sudden I am unable to bring windows in normal mode. It is possible that my son might have unknowingly installed something. The starts and immediately dumps with the blue screen. The blue screen is quick, I am not able to note the content. I've tried the following modes to bring up the system. 1. Safe mode 2. Last known good configuration 3. Safe mode with network On all above cases, the result is same. Comes with blue screen. Windows try to repair, but comes out with unable to repair. I was able to boot using the repair disk. It says that is is able to "Successfully able to configure the system to the last known good state". But things will not come up normally if I boot without the disk. Your help is very much appreciated. Bala

When you start the computer, do the following : At the first sight of (or just before that) the Windows is loading screen (the 4 balls that will form the Windows logo) press F8. This will give you a few alternatives in the boot menu. On of them is "Disable automatic restart on system failure". This will prevent your PC from rebooting when the blue screen pops up and you will be able to read it (and search online for problems related to the STOP errror).
