Hi, I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on my machine, and I'm having trouble cleaning up some registry errors (I think they're registry errors). I tried running the sfc/scannow command in the Command Prompt, and I was prompted that there were some corrupt files that it was unable to fix. QUESTION: How can I repair these files? Furthermore, how can I repair these files without use of the Windows 7 DVD (it's not in my possession). I was instructed that these corrupt files are preventing me from installing SQL Server 2008 R2 Developer, and they must be corrected first.
