Unable to print E-mail from Outlook Express
I am unable to print from Outlook. When I click the PRINT button on the toolbar, nothing happens. I don't get the drop down window to select my options. All the other buttons work correctly and get a drop down (e.g. delete, reply, addresses etc) . Only
the PRINT button fails to respond. When I go instead to the File>print header the same thing happens...nothing!! When I close Outlook and go to other web pages I get normal results using File>print option. One other place where I am unable to get a response
from the print button is in the Help and Support Center. There too, I get no response when I click the print icon! This issue started a few days ago when, in the process of solving another problem, I had to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Silverlight. When
I tried to print the instructions I was given I was unable to. That was start of problem!1 person got this answerI do too

The subject says Outlook Express, but in the post, you only mention Outlook, a completely different program. Which is it?Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]

Good answer. Try in a new identity.
You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old identity and delete it.
Note: Do not use the word Main in the name of the new identity.
