Unable to open hyperlinks on Outlook 2007 / Windows 7
Hi all,Just recently, I am experiencing this on my Windows 7 machine with Office 2007 SP2. I am unable to open hyperlinks on Outlook and on Word and it is always comes up with an error message below:This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions if effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.I am the desktop admin and I do not remember making changes to GPO settings. Also, this error is only popping up on my machine and not on everyone else.Attempted searching for this error and it is showing up as IE-related error on this article.http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/310049It could be related though. I have reset IE settings as suggested by some sites but to no avail.Appreciate any help on this. Many thanks, deskadmin

I want to thank you for this fix. I just corrected my wife's laptop and the hyperlinks within Outlook 2007. I had Chrome Google on it and had removed it not knowing it would leave pieces behind. I am like you, I wish that when you removed a program from a PC that it would remove all the pieces and associations for their product. I corrected the Windows Registry as per the instructions and it corrected all the hyperlinks. Thank you for the information
