When I click on the power options icon in performance and maintenace nothing happens I am trying to change the power options on my Acer Travel Mate 4600 laptop 2 people need an answerI do too

I would really appreciate If you please press Window+R tab (Or, click on Start/Run) from your keyboard after that type POWERCFG.CPL in the box and click on Ok to launch power options.If you face any other problem then please reply me.I have the same problem (on ACER Aspire 3102). I tried running powercfg.cpl and it does not run (either from a command line or from explorer). I know the file is there, I have found it, but it doesn't run. Thank you for your help.

Hi K M JHAI too have the same problem with my Power Options. I have a Lenovo T60 laptop. I can see the Power Option icon but can not open it. I have also run Start/Run and entered "POWERCFG.CPL" and nothing happens. Can you please help?
