Hi I searched over internet and saw that it can be the Ownership problem .. I changed the ownership to TrustedInstaller .. as it is same in C .. Are you sure these are just your user files from a previous installation? The 'Trusted Installer' is usually reserved for system files? You don't want to replace any system files from a previous installation to the new installation. Performthe following. This command will grant full access rights and full permissions to the target drive/folders/files as well as all of it's sub-folders and files. Log on with an administrator account. Go to Start / All Programs / Accessories. Right click the Command Prompt item and select the 'Run As Administrator' option. Click Continue on the UAC prompt. In the command window, enter the following command. icaclsD: /T /grant username:F Press ENTER. *Change usernameto the name of the administrator account you are currently logged on with.**Make sure the command is entered exactly as shown, including the 4 spaces and colon. After the command completes, try moving one of the files on D. Let us know the results. If this post helps to resolve your issue, click the Mark as Answer button at the top of this message. Thokol This is not good news. When you use EFS (Encrypting File System) on a volume, the Encryption Certificate (Key) is created for that volume. You must create a backup of the Encryption Certificate (Key) to external media. If you move the encrypted files to another volume, and youdo not back up the certificate and then you format the volume where the certificate and encrypted files are located, you will not be able to recover those files that you moved. You cannot create a new encryption certificate on a volume for files that were encrypted on a different volume. The error, 80092004 returns as, CRYPT_E_NOT_FOUND Cannot find object or property. Thokol The 'green color' for the file names indicate that they were encrypted with EFS. There are third party software utilities that purport to be able to decrypt files that use EFS encryption. I don't have any recommendations, as I have never used any of these utilities. Elcomsoft: Advanced EFS Data Recovery.http://www.elcomsoft.com/aefsdr.html Hope this helps.
