Unable to log onto encrypted wireless router.
System:XP professional version 2002 SP2.Intel wireless wifi link 4965AG.Here's my issue:At one point the office wireless router had no security encryption and I was able to access no worries. In my absence router security was formatted and I am now unable to access. Located key and input for connection - no joy. Error message that router is out of range (showing full signal strength - I should mention that 3 other in my office can connect no problem and I have no issues connecting to my home wireless with WEP encrytion).Open 'view wireless connection' and open change advance settings.Click 'general tab' and ensure IP and DNS are set to 'Auto'.Click 'wireless networks' and manually add router. Network authentication is WPA2-personal and data encryption is AES (this information was lifted from my collegues PC that has no connection issues). Therefore, I set my PC as WPA-PSK (no option for WPA2-personal) and AES and input the correct key.I checked the 'connect automatically when in range' box and OK'd my way out. Still no connection. Clicked on signal to connect manually and get 'please wait.......' but nothing happens - no error messages either.I've tried every concievable variation of authentication and data encryption and checked/double checked the key but to no avail.Doe's anyone have any ideas?Cheers. 1 person got this answerI do too
