Original title: Installed Windows XP. Can't connect to internet + can't activate my windows.I installed Windows XP professional sp3 to my IBM thinkpad t42.I went to the network wizard but it told me that I'm missing the harware. I tried to connect to the internet with a cat5 wire I also tried to connect wirelessly.. Before that i installed the a wireless connection driver from the Lenovo website, but this had no affect on anything.I used to have a dual boot with ubuntu and xp on the same computer but got a bigger hard drive. Point being with ubuntu which I have on a different harddrive my wireless and wired internet connections work perfectly.Anyone have any idea what I should do?

Hi!I have tryed to set up wireless and wired networks, but the wizard tells me whatever I try that: This wizard cannot find network hardware .Before using this wizard you must install and configure your network cards, modems, cables and device drivers... I tried to reinstall the drivers but they can't be found from the cd and as I can't connect to the internet i just can't do anything about it..I also went to IE and went to tools and problem diagnostics which told me : Windows can't detect any wired or wireless network cards installed on your machine..I tryed to connect my computer to the internet by using my phone and infrared, but didn't succeed in that either..Is there anything I could do, I appreciate your help,Thank you,Anni
