Hi All, 

I am unable to download any application on to my Laptop, error

The installation of C:\Users\********\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\jre1.8.0_45\jre1.8.0_45full.msi is not permitted by software restriction policy. The Windows Installer only allows installation of unrestricted items. The authorization level returned by software restriction policy was 0x0 (status return 0x0).

Is the machine in a domain environment?
According to the error messages, this issue is related to the software restriction policy.
Please run "RSOP.msc" to check whether there is any software restriction group policy has been deployed to this machine.
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Software Restriction Policies
If this is a domain environment, it is recommended to ask for help from the domain administrator.
If it is not a domain environment, we could remove the group policy. (Run "gpedit.msc" to open the group policy manager)
