Unable to contact your DCHP server - what now?
I can't connect to the internet through wireless. I get the IP of 169.254.102.28. When I release and then try to renew the ipconfiguration I get the following mesageNo operation can be performed on Local Area Connection while it has its media disconnected.An error occurred while renewing interface Wireless Network Connection : unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has timed out.Computer recently crashed and had to use the recovery disk. Before that no problems with connection and since then can't connect wireless but have no problems with ethernet connection.Wireless is through Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection Version 9.0.2.3.11 person got this answerI do too

Hi Isjucla, Thanks for posting. This issue is caused when you only have partial connectivity. Can you verify that you have a good connection when trying to connect to the wireless network? Thanks ShawnActually I uninstalled the driver and then reinstalled and that seemed to solve the problem. I had previously verified I had the most recent driver and that it was installed but that seemed to fix it.
