Unable to connect to wireless with Vista
This is my situation:2 Identical Dell Laptops: Inspiron 8500 One with Windows XP Pro. the other with Vista Ultimate.Prior to the Vista Install I did the microsoft download: Windows Vista Upgrade Adivisor. The advisior indicated that I would be able to run Vista. I backed up my original system and installed Vista.Everything runs fine execpt connecting to my wireless at home and at work. The system sees the wireless and when instructed to connect the response is unable to connect due to no response.I have a Westell Wireless Router and I have reinstalled it several times with the proper encryption, even without encryption. My windows XP connects every time, and my windows Vista will not. I have been to the Microsoft site and still no luck.Vista has been uninstalled and reinstalled no less than 6 times. I have just again uninstalled Vista.Any suggestions will be appreciated.Russ Luce
