Unable to connect to the high speed internet. From control panel I clicked Network Connection then LAN or HighSpeed Internet which brings up Local Area Connection window and then I opened support folder then selected Repair. The message I get " Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following actions cannto be completed: Renewing your IP address. For assistance contact the person who manages your network."Remember - This is a public forum so never post private information such as email or phone numbers!Ideas:Programs you are having problems with Error messages Recent changes you made to your computer What you have already tried to fix the problem 1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi, Initially how did you know you could access the Internet?How is your IP range setup and what is your IP setup as DHCP or Static.Also try a ipconfig /flushdns command and also refresh IP address

The internet worked all time till my son uninstalled some games package.Your question on IP range setup etc. is too technical for me.However, if you let me know in a step by step manner, I can follow the instruction provide you the information and aslo refresh IP address.
