I have a D-Link DIR-615 router and have just purchased a 802.11N wifi USB adapter. My front room PC is connected directly to the router via network cable and is running win 7 32bit, and my work machine is running win 7 64bit. After installing the wifi usb adapter it shows as being connected to the router with very good signal strength etc, but it will not allow me to connect to the internet though. Any suggestions?

Is it actually showing as being connected, or is it just showing as available with a good signal? Does it say anything about "limited connectivity"? You may have some sort of encryption set on the router (WEP or WPA) and you need to set the same encryption in the USB adapter's settings. For WEP you also have to make sure the key number is the same on both devices.
