Hi Hesh2, Which browser do you use to connect to Internet? Follow these steps and check if it helps. Step 1: Try pinging and check. a. Click Start > Runb. Type "ipconfig" and check Step 2: You may also uninstall and reinstall network adapters and check if it helps.a. Open the Windows XP Device Manager. To do this, go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Performance and Maintenance" > "System," then open "Hardware" and click on "Device Manager."b. Click on the right-pointing arrow next to "Network adapters." This will expand the list, allowing you to view all the Network adapters installed in your system.c. Click to select the desired Network adapter. If it is an Ethernet-controlling adapter, it will be identified as such in the name. Right-click on the adapter, then select "Uninstall" from the context menu. If prompted, click "OK" to confirm the operation. The device will now uninstall itself.d. Reinstall the adapter. Right-click on "Network adapters," then select "Scan for hardware changes" from the context menu. The Device Manager will now find and automatically reinstall the adapter. You have now successfully reinstalled your Windows XP Ethernet (network) adapter.
