Unable to browse computer or network
We have several 3-party SMB servers on the network. On our new Win7 x32 computers we need to go into the local sercuity policy and enable "Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated". This works great as we are able to get to the shares. However, there is a problem with Explorer. The 1st time you open Explorer and goto a share everything looks fine. The next time you use Explorer (for anything) nothing shows. The left and right panes are blank. The address bar at the top does show a green progress bar and a little magnifing glass is moving in a circle in the left pane. If you manually enter //sever/share (or c:\) in the address bar it will goto the share, but from that point on, Explorer does not allow browsing. Any ideas?

Hello, Please check the Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc) on both server and client sides, and cite the related errors here so we can find more clues on the issue. Please pay more attentions on the network configurations in your environment, especially if the IPSec or firewalls, if there is any, please temporarily disable them to exclude the effects. Thanks. I wish I could help more! There are no errors or warnings of any kind on the event logs on the local workstation. The firewall is off. No special network settings, a basic win7 x32 install. Any advanced logs I can turn on?
