I installed MS backup software today (System Tools/Backup) and tried to backup my system (~20GB) to a 400GB WD Book disc. The system stopped backing up at approximately 4GB. What do I need to do to backup the total C drive space? System is XP Home with SP3.1 person needs an answerI do too

If your external is formated under fat32 it cannot cope with a file size greater than 4gb. It needs to be formated to ntfs
