Unable to acess all network drives
Using a Windows 7 64 bit machine, logging into Domain network (Server 2003), unable to access all the network drives. When accessing from my XP machine there are numerous drives, F, I, etc. Now I only get M - which seems to be the main drive - but my software wantst o point to I drive for the programs. I have one other Win 7 machine that is working fine. Could it be in my login credentials? I hae admin rights? COuld it been in Network discovery? Thanks for any insight you may have! Kurt

Is this a domain that you've setup at home? If so then yes, turn on Network Discovery and File and Printer Sharing. Also turn off any power saving features in the nic's as that'll disable interruptions in network connectivity. Also if you haven't yet, (should have been installed in SP3 on XP), be sure the LLTD Responder is enabled on your NIC on the XP machine. If it hasn't you can download the LLTD Responder http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=4F01A31D-EE46-481E-BA11-37F485FA34EA&displaylang=en and if for some reason it doesn't work, there is a hotfix Microsoft will send you via email that will fix it (had to apply it to my XP machine). What is the error message when the issue occurs? What is the program you use? Also please let us know which account is used by the program when it access shared resources.Arthur Xie - MSFT
