Unable to access the internet but intRAnet works fine, file sharing, ping, remote access ect. This is a brand new Win XP Pro x64 Dell Professional workstation with 1 terabyte HDD, 6 gigs of Ram. It currently has symantec endpoint installed as well as VM ware and office 2010. No other software is installed.I am at a loss, everything looks correct but clearly something is blocking the internet access. (ports). The other 8 machines I have are working perfectly. (mixed environment of Mac and PC) The windows firewall is OFF. Symantec firewall is configured to allow IE, firefox and Safari to connect but still nothing. IE is at 6.0, was at 7 but I rolled it back. When the machine was unboxed connection was working fine as we ran updates successfully. Something has changed somewhere. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks,Mark D.1 person needs an answerI do too
