Unable to access network workgroup after attack by Malware
My daughter's laptop was attacked by a malware virus scanning program. After cleaning the malware with Malwarebytes, I can no longer access my home network. I can get on the internet through the router, I can ping the other computers on the network, but I can not file share. When I look at network places, I can see the workgroup name from her computerm, but I can not see any other computers. Also, when looking at my network places from the other computers, I can see her computer, but can not access any of the shared files. When I change workgroup names and view my network places from her computer, I can see the workgroup name and the other computers but I can not access the shared files. From her laptop, I not not mount a network drive using the computer's name, but I can mount the drive using the IP address. How do I get her computer to see and have access to the other computers in the workgroup?1 person needs an answerI do too

Sometimes LSPFix or WinsockXPFix can fix problems caused by removal of Malware. Give them a try. <http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm > <http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html > HTH
