Unable to access c drive and install new programs
Hi...I uses my pc with two user accounts 1)adminstrator(password protected) (2) standard user
yesterdy i logged in using my administrator account and made the following change in security options in c: drive properties
>Opened 'properties' of c drive and went to 'security' tab
> in 'Group or Usernames' i selected 'users' and clicked
'edit' and checked on 'deny' for 'Modify' in 'Permssions for Users'
>After making this changes i tried to save these changes windows showed some warning mesages which id didnt even read properly.
After making these changes i cant acces my c drive or install new programs.. i read lot of artcles in the net which all said to make changes using DOS by opening as adminsrtator.I cant open any program as administrator and cant acces 'user access control'
. I also tried to revert the above mentioned changes, but now i cant acces any of the above mentioned options in drive properties.I tried chnaging ownership also.Even that too gets denied acces. Is there any solution..i've tried almost all the solution in
microsoft help and forums in other sites.nothing is working..is reinstalling windows the only option...plese reply with ur valuable suggestions

Hi,
First, what you have done is not recommend, and please undo these changes.
I suggest you run Windows PE to repair your system.
Hope that helps.
