Unable to RDP or VPN to Server 2003 from Windows 7 Professional
I have two laptops one with XP Pro SP3 and one with Windows 7 Pro. I am able to RDP and VPN using the XP Pro machine. I am not able to connect using the Windows 7 Pro machine. They are both connected to the same wireless router. To the best of my knowledge both are configured identically. Help

Hi, After checking this issue, may I know the following: 1. Were there any error messages when the connections failed? 2. Was the Windows server 2003 a VPN server? 3. If it is possible, please test this issue in another Windows 7. 4. Test if the Windows 7 can use Remote Desktop to connect to other computers. 5. What are the anti-virus program and firewall you are using? Try to disable them to check what the result is. Meanwhile, I would like to share the following links with you: Remote Desktop Connection: frequently asked questions Hope it helps.
