Unable to Install Windows 8.1 through Windows Store, could I just use the .ISO to do the same thing?

Two days ago I installed the Windows 8.1 preview, all was good until it came the time to install it through the Windows Store. Randomly throughout the download, the progress status bar and text would switch to pending, even while not being at the computer or using anything related to the Internet at that time. Normally downloading 2 GB would take me about 80 minutes, but it took about 2 hours to get to 35% because of all the times it the download would interrupt itself with getting stuck on pending.

Now I've tried solutions for that, they just don't seem to work. Could I instead just download the .ISO and setup to make it work as the store install would? I'm not looking to install it anywhere different, just where the store install would install it. Any tips or warnings before I do so?

Thanks,

Chibichuba

I don't think it should be a problem. This page has the download and installation instructions for the iso http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/preview-iso
Follow that and all should be well!
