Unable to Chat/Call with more than 1 person at same time over Lync

Hi,

After migrating to Lync 2013 from Lync 2010 we are Unable to Chat/Call with more than 1 person at same time over Lync. Please let me know if any other info is required. In Lync 2010 environment it was working fine.

Hi

Please check your conferencing policies in Lync 2013 to make sure the maximum participants allowed is not set to 2. You can raise this value to 250 in a supported way.

thanks

Hi,

Did you see any Lync error message on SFB FE Server Event Viewer?

Did the issue also happen for users who initially enabled on SFB Server but not user who migrated from Lync Server 2013?

If the issue only happen for the migrated users, please make sure CMS replication update to the latest version.

Please also delete SFB user profile and information on registry and then test again:

%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\sip@domain.com

no error comes up. But when someone add three people in a conversation no ones get the messages. And in conference call error comes up call has not been ended or not completed.

Have you restarted the server/pool?

If that doesn't make a difference, I'd run the OCSLogger and watch sipstack, see what happens when the users attempt to send messages to each other in a conference.

Hi, if you run the following cmdlet from Lync Server 2013 PowerShell:

Get-CsConferenceDirectory | FT Identity,ServiceID

is it pointing the ConferenceDirectory to your Lync Server 2013 Pool?

Also, please make sure that your Certificate assigned for Lync Server 2013 from Deployment Wizard (Step 3 ) has been "Enable for all purposes".

Hi,

Yes I have checked both and they seems to be in place. When I am adding third person to IM chat after few seconds that person automatically vanishes. I don't why this is happening.

Please if someone can help. This issue is killing me!!!!

Hi,

Please check if the issue happen both with the Lync conference and a normal Lync IM/Call (initial two users, then add another user).

Make sure Lync Server 2013 update to the latest version.
