Unable To Remote Desktop
On my client which is running Vista Ultimate, I am unable to connect to my server which is running Windows Server 2003 using remote desktop connection. The error I am getting is:
This computer can't connect to the remote computer. Try connecting again. If the problem continues, contact the owner of the remote computer or your network administrator.
I am able to successfully connect using remote desktop connection from XP clients in the network.
From the Vista machine I am able to ping the server and access file shares.
I verified that remote desktop is not being blocked at the firewall.
I am lost right now in how I should troubleshoot this. What troubleshooting steps can I take to understand why the error is occurring? I am leary of trying different things which may or may not be the cause of the problem.
