UnAuthenticated wireless connection,
In Network and sharing center the wifi cinnection reades unaiuthenticated and is a work network not a domian. I have checkd for spyware, i have removed the profile and computer renammed the computer and profile and readded to domain, no difference. it wokrs fine for a wired connection, and even off thr domain and in a workgroup i cant get DNS resoloution. i can ping ip address externaly, internaly but not the server. i cant get any domain name resoloution. it worked fine until i changed the router/wireless today due to failure. it is connected to a SBS 2011 server. the other 5 laptops connected wireless work fine. any thoughts?

Computer is fully up to date, bios and drivers, it was working fine until we replaced teh wifi/router.

Ok: For example check the type of encryption algorithm (right-click then property SSID): and check the type of security: 802.1X, WEP, WPA, WPA2 ......... and the type of encryption berthing Then check the gathering on the other pc and also on the router ... Hi, I notice that it wokrs fine for a wired connection and the issue appear after changing the router. The issue should related with the configuration of Wireless router. I suggest to contact router manufacturer for further help. Furthermore, you can try to temporally disable firewall on Windows 7 for test. Thank you for your understanding.
