USER NOT ABLE TO LOGIN TO THE DOMAIN
Hi, We have a single windows small business server 2003. Recently we brought three laptops with windows 7, so i added these laptops to the domain, Now, when iam trying to logon using the id and password that i created, it is not allowing me to logon says username or password incorrect, But, it is allowing me to logon using my own id and password into the domain. so, the laptops are now in the domain, but not allowing me to go using thie id's. Is there a way that i can change the password of these id's? or is there any work around for this kind of issue? Thanks

Are you sure that you are trying to log into the domain, not locally? The login window behavior has changed in Windows 7. To be certain, use the username@domain.ext format. Bill

Did you try resetting the password? Administrative Tools -> Active Directory Users and Computers -> Navigate to the OU where the User account is located Right Click ->Change Password Santhosh Sivarajan | MCTS, MCSE (W2K3/W2K/NT4), MCSA (W2K3/W2K/MSG), CCNA, Network+ Houston, TX http://blogs.sivarajan.com/ http://publications.sivarajan.com/ This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
