USB problem
Hello,I'm using a Fujitsu-Siemens Esprimo P5909 computer and preinstalled english Windows XP Professional SP3, with hungarian language pack. My problem is that if I hybernate the computer, when I restart it, the USB ports are not working: the printer or the memory stick don't appear to be conected. This issue can be resolved in two ways: restarting the computer or disconnecting the connected devices, entering the computer in stand by, open it again and reconecting the devices. In this case, everything become ok, devices are recognised and works well. Do know somebody how this error can be fixed?Thank you

Hi balazslaci, ·How many USB controllers are connected to the computer?·Have you installed all the updated drivers for the devices? Try the below steps and check the results:a. Click Start, click Run, type Devmgmt.msc, and then click OK. The Device Manager window opens.b. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.c. Right click a USB Root Hub in the list, and then click Properties. The USB Root Hub Properties dialog box is displayed.d. Click the Power Management tab.e. Click to clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box, and then click OK.f. Repeat steps 3 through 6 for each USB Root Hub in the list.g. Close the Device Manager window. OK, I found a solution: I changed a BIOS settings: Advanced - Peripherial Configuration - USB BIOS Supported Devices changed to None. Now everythink works fine: the USB ports works well after resuming from hibernation. I don't know what this setting is, but it fixed the problem.Thank you
