UNRESOLVED ISSUES WITH WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL
Four weeks ago I downloaded W7 Professional (hoping to upgrade from VISTA), all it did was slow my laptop to a crawl and made it almost impossible to connect to Internet Explorer. Now after 12+ hours on the phonewith Technical Team members over several days the laptop is really screwed up, I give up. Does nayone knows how I go about getting my money back from Microsoft.Thanks.

If you bought it from the Microsoft Store,http://store.microsoft.com/Help/Returns-RefundsThe return is supposed to be within 30 days, so you must be close to being out of the window.From what I see online. it's unusual for Win7 to perform more poorly than Vista on the same hardware. However, if you installed it as an upgrade-in-place, you may have just discovered why clean installs are recommended.
