UNC connection access denied
I have a share on a Windows 2003 R2 server in a AD 2003 environment which can be accessed with an XP client using the unc path or via a mapped drive without any problems. We have recently moved to Windows 7 Pro. I can still map a drive to the share and browse the files but if I try and UNC to the share I get access denied. Error message: \\servername\sharename is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have the access permissions. A device attached to the system is not funtioning . I've gone through the permissions and they are fine. I've even added the everyone group with full control to be 100% sure I have full access. I am also a domain admin with admins having full control. Has anyone come across this before and found a fix? Thanks Andy

Hi Andygt, Did you ever get a solution to this problem? I am having exactly the same problem with a PC on my network. Cheers
