UAG 2010 SP3 404 page not found error

Hi all,

I have installed a UAG 2010 with SP3.

The public host name is "portal.mydomain.com" and the trunk name is "SECPortal"

I can surf to the external URL from the Internet and get the login page. After entering username and password I get the "Checking for device compliance..." then "Redirecting to login page" after that I get the "404 page not found" error and the following:

portal.mydomain.com:445/uniquesig9447c0d5a233fca0932f8f6da6153d181b6e7d8640462083a4f43dd402706ab7/uniquesig0/SecureSECPortalPortalHomePage/

I use NAT in the FW (since this is a lab env).

This might be a web configuration issue but I haven't really found some thing on the forums that could help with the problem.

Any nput is highly appreciated.

Hi,

this problem can be caused from the request limitation in IIS/UAG or on a system in front of the IIS/UAG..

http://www.iis.net/configreference/system.webserver/security/requestfiltering/requestlimits

In your URL I see calso that you access portal.mydomain.com on port 445? is this a typo? Verify first that it is working on the standard port 443.

Lutz

Hi Lutz,

And thanks for your reply! Actually the :445 is the forward port in my FW since I am using a single public IP address for several things (lab env). 443 is already used by another site.

I checked and found out the following: when I manually add :445 to the above link "portal.mydomain.com:445/uniquesig9447c0d5a233fca0932f8f6da6153d181b6e7d8640462083a4f43dd402706ab7/uniquesig0/SecureSECPortalPortalHomePage/" i get to the home page of the portal. I am just not sure what to configure so that the URL does not bounce back to __https://mydomain.com/ (meaning that the browser drops the port number from the URL) could be a network config as I mentioned.

Hi,

might using AppWrap and SRA will do it for you. See Ben Ari's blog

http://blogs.technet.com/b/ben/archive/2011/05/12/appwrap-and-sra.aspx

But it looks to me as too much effort for a lab environment.

Lutz
