UAC elevation dialog appears minimized
Our application launches a separate executable that requires elevation. Everything works fine except that the UAC elevation dialog always comes up minimized, blinking in the taskbar (users tend to miss the blinking taskbar and think the operation failed). An example of this same behavior can be seen when selecting "Format..." of a harddrive from Windows explorer. Is there a way to force this UAC dialog to have focus immediately? Or is this a bug that will be fixed in future Vista builds?

This describe a Need for tha application to be modified, sounds like application need to bemodify to allow that process to be run at higher run level like system form a programer view. Once a process is launched it runs in that run level all the time. The Developer site for Vista explains the process of running Separate task s in Elevated mode

Can you give me a bit more information? 1. Does your application have focus when this occurs? 2. Which build are you testing against? Thanks.
